Blog Hop: Showdowns and Pure Pandemonium!

Lori at Pure Imagination is having an amazing giveaway to celebrate her blogoversary AND her birthday. Get over there and check it out!

Tayte at Reading in Paradise reviews Sweet Venom. I really liked that book!

In the YA Heroine Tourney we have Mara from Unbecoming of Mara Dyer vs. Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone and also Izzy from City of Ashes vs. Calla from the Nightshade trilogy.

And the Follow Friday question is a good one: What do you do with all your books? Keep them, sell them, give them away, etc.

Well, you guys know my answer: I really do love to give stuff away. My family calls me the Big Thrower Outer because they're always afraid that I will come after their stuff. But I find that nickname very unfair -- I rarely throw something away unless I have tried (and failed) to find someone else who wants it. And I've never thrown a book away -- the horror!

  1. I'm with you...I give books away or swap them with someone after I've read it. There are very few books that I keep...childhood ones like The Polar Express :) Obviously I keep the books that are on my kindle. That was my first big drawback to the kindle is I don't really keep my books but I love that I can keep so many on one little device...

  3. I do have a keeper shelf. But my shelf has a one book in, one book out policy. If I find a new keeper, then one has to go. It's like Survivor: The Bookshelf. LOL -- maybe I'm seeing why my family is so scared of me.

But, hey, you guys benefit from my clutterphobia, so it's all good :)

  4. hahaha the horror indeed! Let's see...what do I do with my books? I usually tend to hold on to them. But I have realized with so many amazing books coming out I rarely get to go back and re read things. So in an effort to clean my overstuffed bookshelves, like you, I am doing a lot of giveaways on my blog, to make room for the amazing books coming out! If they are finished copies I usually take them to the bookstore for credit so I can buy MORE books! haha But I keep all my signed copies of course. THey are my special babies! :)
