Adam and Lita are just friends.
Lita's friend Emily has a thing for Adam's friend Dennis.
But Dennis is obsessed with Blair.
Adam decides to write a book that will help girls understand guys. But writing a book is harder than he thinks, so he reworks (plagiarizes) some stuff from an anonymous advice blog.
Lita decides to help Emily land Dennis.
Adam decides to help Dennis land Blair.
Plenty of trouble ensues.

This book is a light, enjoyable contemporary read. Chapters alternate between Lita's POV and Adam's. The events in the story are entertaining yet believable. There are no shocking twists or surprises, and that's just fine with me :)

Pick this book up if you liked:

  1. I love a good contemporary. I will definately have to check this out. You are a reading machine lately! lol I feel like such a slacker hehe

  2. @Arianne
Maybe it was my review. I was trying to be cute with the format. It does have a dual POV and there is a lot of he loves her, she loves someone else.

  3. I will have to look for this one. It does look cute and fun. And I really enjoyed reading Nick and Norah. :)

  4. LOL this book sounds hilarious. So you recommend it?

  5. I did like it. I'm a huge fan of contemporary YA. You might want to read The Big Crunch, the book that this author published last year.

"Jen and Wes do not 'meet cute.' They do not fall in love at first sight. They do not swoon with scorching desire. They do not believe that they are instant soul mates destined to be together forever.
This is not that kind of love story."

Loved the blurb. Loved the book.

  6. A contemporary! I need one at the moment...shall look into this!
