  4. I am not sure about this one--I have a friend who is strongly behind it because she has been a victim of theft of intellectual property. But the more I hear about it the more I am concerned that there are not enough checks and balances. Are we going to end up hurting innocent people in an attempt to stop foreign piracy? Is it going to have any affect at all in curbing foreign piracy (the supposed target of the legislation)?

    1. I have not done extensive research, but it seems like a well-meaning objective (stopping copyright infringement and piracy) but perhaps not the right way to go about achieving it.

  5. It's hard to say about this. I mean the internet you should have freedom but at the same time that freedom can lead to hurtful things. I am also against piracy I find that a horrible crime. How can somesome steal someone else's hard work. That's just wrong. I hope for that to stop so hopefully better ideas will come out to get this done.
