In My Mailbox 7

What's in my mailbox this week?

I bought these (two from indie bookstore, one from Barnes and Noble)

When the Sea is Rising Red is part of my I Love YA Giveaway

Quick contest plug: You could win this book OR Fever: Chemical GardenWings of the Wicked OR The One That I Want.

To enter, just click here! Ends midnight on Monday, February 20!

I also bought Two Truths and a Lie, book 3 in the Lying Game series. I'm loving the TV show too.
And also The Fine Art of Truth or Dare, which I recommended to you yesterday.

And I got these ARCs... yippee! I've been trying to see if another blogger would swap with me for Unraveling. Having no luck and then, bingo!

The other two are Grim by Anna Waggener and Devine Intervention by Martha Brockenbrough.

Tell me: what was in your mailbox/library bag/shopping bag this week??

  1. I just recently added "When the Sea is Rising Red" to my TBR. I think that one sounds really interesting and I really like the cover :-)

And...I just realized I don't think I ever entered your I Love YA giveaway-LOL! Doing that now!

    2. I have been really curious about it as well. I also have the audiobook for Delirium so I can re-"read" it too. :)

FYI--I mentioned you on my blog as one of the blogs I think is lovely. :)

  9. I JUST got the Fine Art of Truth and Dare at the bookstore! My dad only let me have two, but I just stood there staring at my pile of five books (trust me, there was, like, twenty books earlier on) until he just cracked and bought me all five! Two Truths and a Lie was one of the other unfortunate fifteen books that I had to put away. :(

    1. LOL that happens to me all the time.
I just stare at the pile, hoping that it will magically grow smaller. It kills me to put some of the books away...

    2. Haha! By the way, these are the other books I wanted: Ruthless by Sara Shepard, Twisted by Sara Shepard, Two Truths and a Lie by Sara Shepard, Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsay, Tempest by Julie Cross, Nightshade by Angela Cremer, Cinder by Marissa Meyer, Abandon by Meg Cabot, and Switched by Amanda Hocking, and there were a few more, I think.

  10. I can see that you like Sara Shepard. Those are some good books! But the ones you bought are good too. Hope you enjoy them :)

  13. I'm SO jealous that you have Unraveling! I really, REALLY want to read it and I requested it at Harper, but I don't think I'll get it (I requested a bunch, and they only sent me Glimmer and Social Suicide. Both I'm so excited to read, but really wanted Unraveling!)

    Nice IMM. Happy reading! :)

    1. I get a little confused since it's so different from the show. But I like both of them :)

    2. I get confused too! When I was reading this book, I remember thinking, "Wait, why doesn't Emma recognize Thayer? They met already." And then one minute later, "Oh! That happened in the show."

    3. LOL. Same here. I like that in the show they've kept Sutton alive. It works better for TV than a ghost.

  17. I definitely want to read The Fine Art of Truth of Dare. That story sounds great and I'm looking forward to what you think of it. One day I will read The Lying Game series. I am so in love with the show and I know they are different but the books sound good so I will make sure I read them.

    1. The show is SO good. In the book (this is not a spoiler) Sutton is dead right away and sort of floats around as a spirit, watching Emma try to solve her murder. Not sure that would work in the TV show.

    2. Yea that would be interesting but kinda weird to see. I'm glad they changed it for the show.
