Again, hooray for my amazing library. Here's what came in for me:
I've been hearing such good things about Sarah Ockler's books and I'm loving this one so far. Ice skating and cupcakes? Sign me up!
Where Things Come Back just won the William C. Morris Debut award and the Michael L. Printz Award.
In the ARC department, I managed to swap, beg, and scrounge these three:
I'm especially excited about Masque of the Red Death.
Cinder seems to fall into the category of "if you love them set them free books" for me. Every time I give away a copy, a new copy pops into my life.
And now (drumroll) in honor of Valentine's day I'm kicking off my fabulous
Here's how it works.
Every day this week, I'll post a trivia question about a well-known YA couple. If you want to answer a question, fill out this form. For every question you answer, you get a chance to win. At the end of the week, the winner (selected by random.org) can choose either a $10 Amazon gift card or a $10 Barnes and Noble gift card. (I'm willing to mail the card internationally if the winner is able to use it in their home country.)
P.S. You don't have to get the answers right. It's just for fun!
P.P.S. Tweeting about the trivia contest will also get you one additional entry per day
Is there a more beloved, iconic YA couple than Bella and Edward? I think not. So our first question is:
What was the first thing that Edward said to Bella in the book Twilight?
a) Have you done this lab before?
b) You don't like the cold?
c) Am I annoying you?
d) Hello.
Find the answer here
I think I am going to feel like a dummy if I don't get that one right. LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove the trivia game. I think I may need to start one too. :)

I promise not to make fun of any wrong answers!
DeleteIt's okay--as long as I don't get a question wrong about Pride and Prejudice or any of the Maria V. Snyder books I have read I think I can handle finding out I am wrong. LOL :)
