Read-a-thon Begins!

 I'm participating in the...

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon. It started at 12:01 am today and ends at 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 20.

Boy, can I ever use a readathon. May has been really crazy with tons of great new books.

Here is a photo of my physical to-read pile for May:

Of Poseidon by Anna Banks
First Comes Love by Katie Kacvinsky
In Honor by Jessi Kirby
Pretty Amy by Lisa Burstein
When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle
Where it Began by Ann  Redisch Stampler
The Lost Code by Kevin Emerson (not pictured)
Insurgent by Veronica Roth (not pictured)

On NetGalley and Edelweiss for May I have:

Dead Time by Anne Cassidy
Dreamless by Josephine Angelini
Girl in the Clockwork Collar by Kady Cross
Dark Frost by Jennifer Estep

From the library I have:

Love, Maybe by Heather Hepler
Rock On: A Story of Guitars, Gigs, Girls and a Brother by Denise Vega
The Story of Us by Deb Caletti

To skim because book two is coming out and my memory isn't what it used to be:

Hourglass by Myra McEntire
Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

So I'm just going to read as many of these as I can. That's my goal.

I'll update my Readathon progress on every post this week. And on Twitter.

  2. Wow, that's quite a goal you have set for yourself! I'm anxious to read In Honor, I have not seen one bad review of that book, everyone is raving about it! I may need to have one of these readathon's myself, my tbr list (and especially my NetGalley titles) are stacking up! Good luck and have fun reading!

    1. I try to read review books first and chronologically. But that doesn't always happen because other books beckon me...

    1. It is good and I'm not complaining, but I am beginning to see how book bloggers burn out...

Last night I dreamed I was attacked by a swarm of bees and I think that was from staring at that stack of books right before I fell asleep.

    2. Yea I am amazed at how much book bloggers can do. It seems that time goes too fast for me to do anything.
