Read-a-thon Update: after day one, I'm on on page 397 of Insurgent!
That's funny, I'm on page 400 of Insurgent! I finally put the book down about 1am last night to get some sleep:) It took me a bit to get into it, but now the pace is really moving along and I'm anxious to see what happens!
ReplyDeleteSame!! I read until 11:30 but knew I had to get up early.
DeleteI also thought it was a bit slow to get going, but it's getting good!
I have heard that Code Name Verity is Awesome!! I got a widget invite from NetGalley for it, but I have too much to read already.
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to get into it, but I really liked it!
DeleteI'm soooo looking forward to Code Name Verity. And I'm going to listen to Insurgent as soon as I finish relistening to The Scorpio Races... so depends how much I drive.
ReplyDeleteCode Name Verity was really different -- it took me a while to get into it, but I was SO glad I read it.
DeleteSo it looks like I need to look up Code Name Verity which seems to be the popular choice. For the first time ever, I don't have any of these books already on my TBR! I can't believe it!
ReplyDeleteIt's a historical thriller. I hadn't heard of it either.
Deletesadly none of those books are on my radar
ReplyDeleteThat's okay --I'm sure you have plenty to read.
Deletemore than I can handle apparently haha
DeleteYeah I don't think I'm planning on reading any of these either. But there are plenty of other May releases I am planning on reading. Like 15! LOL I still haven't even started Insurgent.
ReplyDeleteThere is a LOT to read in May!!
DeleteI'm waiting for Insurgent from my library, but I've got plenty to read in the meantime so that's okay. I haven't heard of Dead Time and I'm looking forward to hear what you think about the first two. I'm reading The Selection right now - we'll see if I like it or not. :)
ReplyDeleteI have the Selection, but I put it on my summer pile. Seems like a good beach read!
DeleteI want CODE NAME VERITY and GILT. Already on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteGood taste -- both of those are excellent!!
DeleteNothing exciting for me this week. That gives me time to catch up on my TBR.
