  1. Ohhh, I just got a bookmark for The Darkness Shows the Stars, and because I like shiny pretty things my head was instantly turned. And did I mention I haven't actually read a Holly Black book? But I've heard really good things about them!

  4. I decided to do what I say I won't do but always end up doing...start another book while reading two others. I picked up The Immortal Rules from my huge TBR stack and it ROCKS! I was frankly disappointed by Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series but so far I believe this book shows some serious promise. My only gripe is that the writing is a little abrupt, as in the sentences are very choppy but that may just be the voice of the main character. She is a young and rough around the edges so I guess we can see how she develops over time. But I am so excited to read a book that I would recommend! It's been awhile!

  21. OHMYGOD!!! I'm practically SALIVATING at those piles of books, ESPECIALLY that last pile. Being a Jane Austen fan, I'm DYING to read "For Darkness Shows the Stars", and "Tokyo Heist" just sounds really cool. Plus, I've been DYING to read "Storm", just look at those gorgeous boys on the cover, and I'm sure the author has made their characters just as dreamy! :D
