Which of these are you excited about?
Did I forget anything? Let me know in comments and I'll add it with your name :)
A Midsummer's Nightmare (LOVED The Duff!) and Shadow and Bone (I think it's out today according to Goodreads) top my list of books I'm most excited for! I'm heading to the Bookstore today, maybe I'll pick them up then!
ReplyDeleteYep, all those sound amazing! Happy reading!
DeleteI'm excited about Monument 14, Stunning, Arise, and Shadow & Bone!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a good week -- enjoy them!
DeleteI'm excited about many of these but Monument 14 and Shadow and Bone (both of which en route to me RIGHT NOW) are my most anticipated.
ReplyDeleteQuestion about Monument 14 - As I changed schools a multitude of times growing up, I never had to read Lord of the Flies. Should I?
I found Lord of the Flies pretty disturbing -- but it's a classic, and an excellent book!
DeleteThe one I want to read the most on here is Monument 14. I will be getting that one soon! I also want to read A Midsummer's Nightmare and Shadow & Bone. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm almost done with that one -- It's hard to put down!
DeleteI Loved Surrender, I thought Monument 14 was okay, I'm almost done with Transcendence. I really want to read A Midsummer's Nightmare and Shadow and Bone. Thanks for sharing the new releases.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Possession yet.
DeleteI'm excited about Midsummer's Nightmare and I think I will read Shadow and Bone because I've heard great things about it. Fantasy isn't always my thing, but sometimes I love it!
I just added A Midsummer's Nightmare because it sounded to fabulous to pass by. I am also really, super excited about Shadow and Bone! The reviews so far seem great and I really dig the cover. I need to click through the rest and see what I might be missing. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteClick away! I know -- every time I do this feature I find something interesting I didn't know about before....
DeleteI'm not really looking forward to any of those books. Must not have enough of a hype for me lol
ReplyDeleteWell, I know you have plenty to read. Are you starting Last Rite????
DeleteNot yet. I need to get ahead of my review reading and then when I see a good window, I will start it :D
DeleteSo many great books again this month! I'm going to read Monument 14 this week... it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying it-- hope you do too!
DeleteI can't wait to get my grubby little hands on Dead Reckoning and Monument 14 LOL
ReplyDeleteYou won't have long to wait!
DeleteAll these awesome books! I really want Arise and A Midsummer's Nightmare, though! :) They look awesome, and I just read the DUFF by Kody Keplinger! :)
ReplyDeleteDid you like the DUFF -- I thought it was so much fun!
DeleteThe Duff is awesome. I can read that book anytime.
DeleteThe Duff was an amazing book so I am definitely looking forward to reading A Midsummer's Nightmare. The Vincent Brothers finally came out. I highly recommend this book, well I first recommend The Vincent Boys if you haven't read that yet.
ReplyDeleteAbbi Glines, right? I'm going to check those out!
DeleteYea shes an amazing author I love her books. Definitely knows how to write swoon worthy guys lol.
DeleteJen M needs to check those out too!!
DeleteIt seems like there is a lot of hype about series and the releases at the beginning of the year and then things just kind of slack off. I'm getting to the point where I don't recognize or haven't seen a lot of these advertized or reviewed now. I have heard about All These Lives and Shadow and Bone and some of the series, but I'm not sure if I'll be reading any or not until I see good reviews. :) I'm looking forward to reading your reviews and then I'll see if I'm going to read them too. I'm reading Insurgent right now. So good!
ReplyDeleteI want to read All These Lives and I requested Shadow and Bone from the library, so I'll let you know!
DeleteI already have and need to read Monument 14. I already read Arise and enjoyed it. I want to read A Midsummer's Nightmare. I just bought The Duff and I have heard great things about it. You said there is a very slap worthy guy so I'm sure I'll be angry during some of it. It sounds good! I also want to read A Girl Named Digit. It just sounds like a nice fun lighthearted read and I might read Shadow & Bone sometime.
ReplyDeleteHis name is Wesley, which doesn't sound slap-worthy, but I hope you think so :)
DeleteI'm probably most excited for A Midsummer's Nightmare and Arise! I already read Miracle though and I highly recommend it for people who like intense contemps.
ReplyDeleteI actually just ordered Miracle after reading the plot summary -- and I love intense contemps!!
DeleteI ordered a copy of The Gathering Darkness (which is basically the UK title and version of Shadow and Bone) because it was being released earlier, and I absolutely loved it. It was such an amazing, vivid book with such wonderful descriptions and characters. Trust me, you won't regret reading it! Also, never heard of A Girl Named Digit, but it seems like a fun read. Another book I'm looking forward to which I notice wasn't on your list is Shadows Cast By Stars by Catherine Knutsson. The cover for SCBC is really beautiful and the plot-line sounds very intriguing!
ReplyDeleteI wonder why the title change???
DeleteI just saw Shadows Cast by Stars online yesterday -- for a minute I thought it was the Diana Peterfreund book, For Darkness Shows the Stars. I'm going to add it to the list!
NOW by Morris Gleitzman stands out for me. A change of pace I will welcome.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of it -- I never have time to get to everything!
DeleteCan't wait to hear what you think of A Mid Summers Nightmare.
ReplyDeleteI need to start it!!! I'm dying to, but I've been on the go this week and had to read off my Kindle.
