Hot Off the Presses -- brand new YA releases!

Hot Off The Presses highlights great new YA releases for the coming week.

These are the titles releasing July 3-9 that I'm most excited about. Click on the cover to get to Goodreads page!

Team Human by Justine Larbalestier and Sarah Rees Brennan pic name The Best Night of Your Pathetic Life by Tara Altebrando Tiger Lily by Jodi Lyn Anderson

I have ARCs of Team Human, Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone and The Best Night of Your (Pathetic) Life that I'm reading now and Tiger Lily is on my library request list.

Here are other titles releasing this week:

Once (Eve #2) by Anna Carey

Waking Storms (Lost Voices #2) by Sarah Porter

The Girl is Trouble by Katheryn Miller Haines

The White Glove War (Magnolia League #2) by Katie Crouch

Soulbound (Legacy of Tril #1) by Heather Brewer

Some of these also look pretty good. Have you read any of this week's releases, or are you planning to?

  1. I have read Team Human and I really liked it-that is definitely the team I'd pick rather than Team Vampire.

I also really liked The Girl Is Trouble, sequel to The Girl Is Murder. I thought it improved on characterization in plot from the first book and sated my need for some HF.

    1. I just finished Team Human and thought it was cute. I had no idea what to expect -- I guess I'd call it a mystery with a different take on vampires.

    1. I liked it. I had no idea what it was about. It was a mystery with a touch of romance set in a town where vampires and humans coexist. Kind of a teen Sookie Stackhouse.

  4. Tiger Lily souds good, I like the story of Peter Pan and it's interesting to see a different side of it. Out of all of these I want to read The Best Night of Your Pathetic Life the most. I love scavenger hunt books and this one sounds awesome.

    1. I know it is based on Peter Pan (Tiger Lily in the Disney movies is a Native American princess) but I have no idea if it is a series.
