Extra! Extra! 16

Extra! Extra!

Extra! Extra! is my weekly Sunday post featuring brand new additions to my TBR pile as well as a summary of what's coming up on the blog.

This Sunday I'm linking up to Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and also Sundays in Bed With hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Still in bed with Will Herondale and the Clockwork Angel gang, BTW...

Today's Extra! Extra! is packed with news of winners! But first....

Shocking news -- I did not buy any new books this week! I did get an Epic Reads prize package from a HarperTeen contest. I won the prize a couple months ago and I thought the books were lost, but then my post office found them!

Thank you HarperTeen! You're amazing. Glad my books and I were finally united.

Great giveaway!!

My blogger friend Eliza at GirlsPWN is hosting a giveaway of my favorite summer reads. She's such a sweetheart -- we share a deep suspicion of zombies. You could win Throne of Glass or Pushing the Limits or well, just check it out here and enter to win!

What happened on my blog this week? Click the highlighted text to catch up.

I reviewed Survive by Alex Morel

Treachery of Beautiful Things by Ruth Frances Long  AND

Between You and Me by Marisa Calin

What's coming up next week?

Monday I'm reviewing Stone Girl by Alyssa Sheinmel as part of a blog tour.

Tuesday find out what new YA books are releasing.

Wednesday is our last day of Vampire Academy summer school

Thursday I kick off a fun Back to School themed giveaway!

Here are the winners of the July comments contest and what they chose:

Tanychy (my fifth international winner!) chose This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers!

StarryEyedJen chose Drain You by M. Beth Bloom

Bookworm 1858 chose Cold Fury by T. M. Goeglein

Wondering who won that finished copy of Throne of Glass?

Franchie, my sixth international winner.

Whew, that was a lot of news. What's new with you this week?

  1. Congrats on winning the Epic Reads giveaway-I have no idea how your post office lost a package that size and yet it is very believable based on my experiences with the post office.

And thanks again for your giveaway-I can't wait to read Cold Fury!

  3. what a great prize pack! I knew I should've been a book blogger.

Our suspicion of zombies will help us prepare for when it happens. There's a reason why the CDC talks about them http://www.cdc.gov/phpr/zombies.htm

    just saying...

  8. Wow that's really great that your books were recovered. I see a bunch of titles I have to read. Not much here except work that seems to take up more time than it really does. Hopefully my muscles will get used to it so when I come home I won't be exhausted.Sadly I'm still reading The Wild Ones but am much closer to finishing.
