  1. I don't think I have ever read a premise like the one in The Sweetest Spell! I'm going to have to check that one out for sure!

I haven't read anything by Kenneth Oppel, and I hear such great things about his books. Guess I need to so something about that:)

The Sinister Sweetness of Splendid Academy releases today too!

    1. I loved Suzanne Selfors' last book, Mad Love, so I want to read this one.

And I think that Sinister Sweetness wasn't on my list because it's not really YA, but since I reviewed it as part of my Back to School series, I'm going to add it :)

      Thanks for reminding me!!!

  2. I really like the sound of Pizza, Love, and Other Stuff That Made Me Famous, it seems like something I'd like. I've also enjoyed some previous Selfors' work so I'm interested in trying out her newest (haven't seen many reviews of it yet unfortunately).

  6. It may be that I've been too busy to read as many WOWs and blogs as usual, but I'm actually not going broke this week. I bought Hidden Things, which is adult fantasy. Kinda psyched to read it.

    1. The Raft is definitely not for me. I enjoyed Sinister Sweetness -- it was fun to read a middle grade book for a change!!

  8. Right now I'm reading Take This Man by Nona Raines for my adult partner blog. For my YA blog, I'm reading Bitter Frost by Kailin Gow and struggling like crazy with it. I really don't want to read it anymore, but the publisher sent me books 1&2 for a video review... Help?!!!

  9. The Raft was okay but I didn't like the little twist thing. I preferred Survive and On The Island. The main character int The Raft annoyed me. I want to read Heaven and see how that series ends!

  12. The only book this week that I'm excited for is Over You, but not enough to purchase it...yet. I have been a very good girl this month, I haven't bought any books. I'm trying desperately hard to keep it that way.

  13. There are some great ones this week and I really love some of the covers! I'll be reading The Rise of Nine (I've read the other two and loved them - much better than the movie). I'm reading Throne of Glass right now and am loving it (even though I'm only on chapter 7)!
