What's on my TBR pile this week? Click the covers to get to Goodreads in a new page!

Okay, I have officially declared November and December as I'm Going to Read Whatever I Want months. So far, so good. Right now, I'm reading this:

Thanks, Little, Brown BYR -- you're the best!

Loving it so far. I'll try to get my review up next week, unless I'm washed away by Hurricane Sandy. I'm ready to read. I'm charging up the Kindle in case we lose power and I have a headlamp so I can turn the pages...

Also on my nightstand:

What happened on the blog this week?

I reviewed a great ghost story -- Break My Heart 1,000 Times.

I interviewed Laura Bickle, author of The Hallowed Ones -- if you didn't see that, it includes a hilarious story from Laura that prompted all these funny stories in comments about childhood phobias. Check it out!

My friend Heather @ The Flyleaf Review and I discussed YA Bad Girls

Contests you can STILL ENTER!

What's coming up on the blog next week?
A reviews of Venom and -- I hope --  Days of Blood and Starlight and Ask the Passengers!

A brand-new Hot Off the Presses with a giveaway of Venom :) :) :)

This week's winners:

Kristilyn of Reading in Winter won the 90s themed Freebie Friday. Drain You is on its way to her...

Lexi of won the Hot Off the Presses giveaway for October 23. She chose Crewel.

Enjoy your books, ladies :)

Ellice won the Halloween Freebie Friday -- emailing her right now!

Searches that led to my blog:

A lot of "90s and I Love the 90s" searches led to me this week. But guys, I am so excited about this one:

TWO people got to my blog by Googling "overalls 90s girls." I hope they enjoyed all our 90s nostalgia!

Hope you had a great week too! Tell me what's new with you and if you leave a link, I'll visit you back :)

  1. I love that people found your blog looking for the 90s! I still have not read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I really really need to do that! I hope you get to enjoy the next 2 months to read whatever you want! I am hoping to do that too, in a couple weeks. I think I'll read my Life Next Door first from my list. :)

  2. I am so very inspired by your reading whatever you want for November and December! Although I am still committed to a few review books, I also put a ton of my own books on my schedule like Catching Jordan, Cold Fury, and an Anna Karenina readalong.

  3. First of all - Stay safe! It looks like it's going to be worse for you up there than it is down here, though it's driving me nuts that they STILL don't know.

Your "Read whatever I want" declaration for Nov and Dec sounds great!

Hoping everyone is safe and dry out there!

  12. Schools have just been cancelled here in MD and we are hunkering down. I have books, candles, and LED flashlights ready. Not sure what to do when my boy-child goes crazy with storm fear/boredom. Stay safe!

    1. Yeah -- hunkered is the word -- except the time the storm is supposed to hit keeps getting pushed back. Schools cancelled here too..

  13. I just won Black City and hope to read it next week. I have to read Reaping Me Softly and Pivot Point first. I always seem to have something I need to read before I can read anything I want to read. Loved all the 90s reminiscing.
