Congrats to Emily of EmilysCrammedBookshelf who was last week's lucky winner :)
a Rafflecopter giveaway
I can see there are a lot of books being released but I view this as sort of a quieter week because I'm not super interested in most of them. I kind of want to read new The Giver book but I haven't read the other sequels so I'd need to catch up on them first. I'm also planning to read Send Me a Sign since I won an ARC of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm always kind of relieved when that happens to me! It's good to have a breather now and then :)
DeleteI have been so excited for the Poison Princess to come out!! Romance and apocalypse, you really can't go wrong!!
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget Tarot Cards :)
Delete(Sunday on my blog news I shared that someone got to my blog on Google by searching "where do I buy tarot cards")
Hi, I don't see the linky to link my review to!
ReplyDeleteSorry -- I was editing this morning before heading to a meeting and I think I accidentally deleted the HTML.
DeleteFixed now :)
I didn't know that there was a new The Giver book coming out! (In fact, I didn't know until recently that The Giver was part of a series. Where have I been?!) I will definitely have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that either until I heard Lois Lowry speak at BEA....
DeleteDoes 'Ironskin' count? It was released today - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9860837-ironskin
ReplyDeleteI looked at that one -- not sure if it's YA but since it is a Jane Eyre retelling, I say why not :)
DeleteIt is YA, well, there's nothing in it that would make it not YA. Jane is of course very innocent! Personally though, it's not as good as the original!
DeleteI'm really excited about Eve & Adam, I requested on netgalley but I wasn't approved...I think I waited too long to request. I'm going to have to get me a finished copy now! Through To You also looks really good!
ReplyDeleteI have a few NetGalley requests that have been in limbo for a while :(
DeleteI sooo want to read Eve&Adam and Destroy Me!!! Their covers are gor-geous!
ReplyDeleteI just got Destroy Me and am really excited to read it!! I also want to read Through to You and Poison Princess. I have read Breathe and D&tGND and enjoyed them. Ironskin was released today too and I have that one to read!! Hopefully I can fit it in soon.
ReplyDeleteDo you think it is YA? I limit my list to that; otherwise it would be ten pages long. On Goodreads the pub is Tor, not Tor Teen.
DeleteBut since it's Jane Eyre, if anyone wants to link to it, I say go for it :)
I still have a few of these from BEA to read. Eve and Adam, Breathe look really good.
ReplyDeleteI just can't get into the Shatter Me series. I don't know why because everyone loves her writing.
LOL not every book is for everyone. Which is good, because I can't read everything!
DeleteThis week is killer for books. Well, October in general is. lol So many I want to read and not enough time to read them all. :)
ReplyDeleteI know -- October is crazy!
DeleteThis is big book week for me. I'm broke! Lol! Books I have coming in the mail are: Death and the Girl Next Door, Poison Princess, Eve & Adam, & Breathe. I'll also be getting the Destroy Me novella :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all those!
DeleteI found out my friend is sending me an ARC of Poison Princess, but I'll link up my reviews of Lucid and Eve and Adam so other people can enjoy! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so much -- I'd love it if people can come here to find out about new releases and find out what other people thought...
DeleteI think I am most excited about Breathe - as I love dystopians and this one sounds epic (plus that cover ... omg!) <3
ReplyDeleteI wish I had tons of money to spend on all these new releases lol ;D
Mary DeBorde M.A.D.
This month has so many great new releases!
DeleteI can't wait to get home and read Destroy Me! I loved Warner -- even though he was a baddie -- he's just an intriguing character! I let my Eve & Adam galley expire on me, d'oh, but I have ARCs of Through to You and Chasing the Skip to catch up on, anyway. But I'm super-excited to read Poison Princess!!! I read an excerpt, and despite some negative reviews, I think I'll really enjoy it. You're reading it, right? What do you think?
ReplyDeleteArgh, no. I am about to start it. I've been reading on my kindle lately because I've been on the go. It's been raining a lot here and I don't want PP to get wet!!
DeleteI'm excited for a lot of these books but Poison Princess has to be the one I'm most excited for! Thanks for the giveaway ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)
DeleteLots of good releases this week! Poison Princess, Breathe, Eve and Adam, Death and the Girl Next Door, Destroy Me, Chasing the Skip, and possibly Through To You though it sounds on the sad side for me. I loved Lucid! It was crazy but emotional and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Lucid!
DeleteI am super excited about Poison Princess. I have been waiting forever for it to come out!
ReplyDeleteHa -- I know the feeling!
DeleteI can't wait for Posion Princess and Eve and Adam!
ReplyDeleteI have a copy of Through to You I need to hurry up and read. If I can ever catch up on review reading!
ReplyDeleteI know -- September and October have been INSANE!
DeleteI'm most excited to read Promised by Caragh O'Brien. Love this series!!
ReplyDeleteI have heard great things about it!
DeleteOctober is shaping up to be an amazing book month already! I am excited about many of the ones listed so I won't begin to make a list...Thank you for doing the dirty work!
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you. My review books are backing up. Must. Read. Faster.
DeleteBreathe sounds soooo good!! I want to read it so badly..lol
ReplyDeleteEve & Adam and Promised are both really good!
Another week of great book releases it looks like!
Yes -- September and October have been amazing!
DeleteOut of the ones listed I'm most excited for Destroy Me! I'm also dying for Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick though =)
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued to hear Warner's POV!
DeleteI'm really excited for Destroy Me. I'm very excited to get into the mind of Warner and see what plans he has next! :)
ReplyDeleteHe has a very twisted mind!
DeleteI really want to read EVE AND ADAM and LUCID. I'm off to check some more of these out.
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for Destroy Me.I totally loved Shatter Me-can't wait to read the story from Warner's POV! :)
ReplyDeleteAAH there's a lot!!! I really wanna read Poison Princess so thanks for the chance to win it! :) I also can't wait to read Eve and Adam- I won an ARC and am dying to read it- and Ironskin and Destroy Me! :)
ReplyDeleteI screwed up in the Rafflecopter.. I linked the review: Mel@thedailyprophecy Ironskin, but I messed up the name :p I believe it was now 'Mel!' so if you see something strange like that, it's me, haha.
ReplyDeleteThrough To You looks really good! I think that's what I'm most looking forward to this week. :)
ReplyDeletenew releases don't really catch my attention this time.. I'm just cuious for Ironskin , I read some nice reviews and I think it worth give a try ;D
ReplyDelete~~Magda L
So many awesome books this week! I really need to read some Kresley Cole ... AND I read Through to You and it was pretty good!!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about the new book by darynda jones Death and the girl next door because it's an author that i appreciate
ReplyDeletei haven't read anything by kresley Cole but i would be happy to win the arc
I'm more than looking forward to Lucid!! It sounds so good! x
ReplyDeletePassenger! I love Andrew Smith's weird stories. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Promised (Birthmarked #3) by Caragh O'Brien! I loved the other Birthmarked books and want to see what happens next! Thanks for this great giveaway - I would love to win!
ReplyDeleteSo, I haven't really heard of any of these and don't know which ones I'll read. Poison Princess looks good, but so do some of the others. Is it just me or does it seem like the books that are released at the beginning of the year are really hyped up and then as the year goes on there seems to be less discussion, giveaways, promotions, etc unless it's a sequel to a popular series or something? I just know that I knew of a lot of books at the beginning of the year that were debut authors that I was really looking forward to and now I feel like I don't know anything about what is coming out unless I see it on a blog or something and I don't always see the same books across all the blogs like I did at the beginning of the year. (Sorry for all those run-on sentences!) It could be that I'm so busy too, but I don't feel like that's the only reason. Is it just me?
ReplyDeleteI really loved to have Send Me A sign and if ever pls pls pls..God give me a sign that I'm going to have this wonderful book :))
ReplyDeleteCan I link a review eve if its release date is on Oct.9? and not included in the list of books above? :))
There will be a link for October 9 to 15 books up on Tuesday!
DeleteI'm most anxious to read Poison Princess and Breathe! I've read some really great reviews for both, and they sound like something I'd enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I am most excited to read Destroy Me. I was fortunate to receive an ARC of Unravel Me, and I am so eager to know Warren's thoughts and motivations. There is so much more to him than I originally thought when reading Shatter Me. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to Breathe - I'm on a dystopian kicj right now =)
ReplyDeleteTahereh Mafi is one of my favorite new authors, so when Destroy Me came out I grabbed and read it almost immediately. :) Poison Princess is definitely on my TBR list, so I'm very excited to get my hands on it. Also, I'm really interested to see how Kresley Cole coped in her YA debut. Thanks for an awesome giveaway! :)
