Extra! Extra! is my weekly post featuring any and all exciting blog news.
This weekend I'm linking up to Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
|
What happened on the blog this week?
Monday I reviewed Meant to Be. While it was a fun read, it was not exactly the book I hoped to fall in love with.
Tuesday was a new Hot Off the Presses. Still time to enter to win Black City or Ashes of Twilight!
Wednesday I told you about two upcoming YA books that feature teen spies and criminals.
Thursday I reviewed Miss Fortune Cookie by Lauren Bjorkman, a charming YA contemp.
As Friday kicked off a big Book to Film weekend with Breaking Dawn 2 and Anna Karenina, we talked about our favorite and/or most-anticipated films based on books on Freebie Friday. Still time to enter to win!
Saturday I dipped my toe into the New Adult waters and reviewed Easy by Tammara Weber.
What's Coming Up Next Week?
Well, Thanksgiving, at least here in the U.S. On the blog, you'll find a review of Elemental by Antony John, the audiobook of The Diviners by Libba Bray (finally!) plus a brand new Hot Off the Presses with a sizzling hot new giveaway.
On Monday I'm kicking off my So You Say You're On a Book Buying Ban? Why Not Enter to Win My Awesome $50 Book Shopping Spree? giveaway. Okay, I'm probably not going to call it that, but that's the idea! The holidays are coming up -- maybe you'll win this fabulous present for yourself.
Last Week's Winners:
Two international winners and two Jennifer Armentrout prizes!
MissyMoo09 won Freebie Friday and chose Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout.
Rafflecopter selected Anatea as the winner of the Nov 6-12 Hot Off the Presses giveaway and she chose Deity by Jennifer Armentrout.
Searches that led to my blog:
Hmmm. Good luck finding that. But this one made me SO happy:
I LOVE Ziri. So much. Is there a blog button for that?

I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week!
ReplyDeleteI know. I am in denial and unprepared. I need a better stuffing recipe!

Aw, thanks for being an old follower :)
DeleteThat will be an awesome giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteThe Diviners is something on my tbr pile but it so huge I'm not sure I want to invest all my time on it. Will check back to see your thoughts. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Enjoy!
It is a very long book, which is why I'm only reviewing it now :)
DeleteI think that's an awesome name for a giveaway but I do really love long names so I may not be the best judge. Still the SYSYOBBB? WNEtWMA$50BSS? giveaway is making me chuckle :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, when you put it like that, it looks really cool!
DeleteYou've had a great week! And I too like the name for your giveaway! I say stick with it! Happy reading and happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my IMM & SP.
Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know

DeleteGreat week babe!! What an awesome giveaway!! Hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving. I of course will be stopping by all of your blog posts before then.
ReplyDeleteI'm frantically looking for a new stuffing recipe. Very unprepared!
DeleteI love Ziri!!!
ReplyDeleteI love him so much.
DeleteMy gorgeous Aussie copy of The Vincent Boys came in this week. It actually wasn't too expensive and it came pretty fast. Yes it sounds crazy to buy a book from Australia but the cover was too pretty to pass up lol. I also went online clothes shopping. Bought a dress from Pac Sun and a top from Hollister. Can't wait for those to come in.
ReplyDeleteIs that the cover with the girl in cutoffs leaning on the car? It is a good cover!
DeleteYea. And a very good view of Beau. Lol
DeleteOoh, better go back and check. I haven't read the book. Yet.
DeleteI like that you have searched that led to your blog here :) Those can be so funny
ReplyDeleteUsually mine are pretty straightforward, but sometimes they make me laugh!

ReplyDeleteSo You Say You're On a Book Buying Ban? Why Not Enter to Win My Awesome $50 Book Shopping Spree? giveaway: My official favorite giveaway name! XD
ReplyDeleteAnd aww, I have no idea who ZIri is! Must catch up and read DoBaS!
And congrats to the winners!
-and this is completely offtopic, but I was wondering if you would be interested in an interview I'm planning as part of a feature? Let me know if you are, and I'll work things out. :)
Thanks for the Deity once again. It's cool that other winner also choose JLA book :)
ReplyDeleteAnatea @ Anatea's Bookshelf
Those web searches just crack me up! :) I'm planning on having time this week to actually read your blog and to read some newly released books that will end their series (Beautiful Redemption and Finale).
ReplyDeleteI just finished Meant To Be and I was a little bummed by it too. The Book Licker nickname drove me absolutely nuts! I also recently read Easy and I really liked that one. I think she did a great job getting her point across with out everything being all preachy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!!
