Extra! Extra! is my weekly post featuring any and all exciting blog news.
This weekend I'm linking up to Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
What Happened on the Blog This Past Week?
Hope you can join the Last Reads of 2012 Readathon! Patrick @ The Bookshelves invited me and Eileen @ Singing and Reading in the Rain to host this event with him. You can sign up to participate in the readathon and some fun challenges and also volunteer to host a challenge.
Last chance to enter two great giveaways:
I'm excited that soon I'll get the chance to make the holiday season a little more exciting for four people! I'm drawing winners for my Freebie Friday Favorite Books of 2012 tomorrow, and my winners for my $50 Book Shopping Spree and weekly Hot Off the Presses Giveaway on Tuesday. There's still time to enter!
Reviews on the blog this week:
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken -- was this dystopian-sci-fi-paranormal blend among one of the great books I've read this year?
Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes -- I'm iffy on fantasy -- how did I feel about this one?
Books received for review:
I had an amazing week, thanks to the wonderful, enthusiastic marketing teams at HarperTeen and PaperLanternLit. Thank so much for letting me read all these!

Forgot to announce winners last week!
Carl won the November 27 Hot Off the Presses giveaway and chose Black City by Elizabeth Richards
Ash won the December 4 Hot Off the Presses giveaway and chose The Farm by Emily Mc Kay
I'm looking forward to slowing down a little and enjoying some time with my family over the holidays, but since the books never stop rolling off the presses, Hot Off the Presses will be up every Tuesday in December -- with giveaways. Friday December 21 will be a special Freebie Friday with a big stack of November and December finished copies up for grabs and I'll give them all away!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you'll leave a comment and say hello so I can visit you back.
