Waiting on Wednesday .. Most Anticipated Books of January 2013

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Here are some January 2013 books I am dying to read:

Boundless by Cynthia Hand Shades of Earth by Beth Revis

Boundless by Cynthia Hand
To be published by HarperTeen on January 22!

I just love this series. Clara is such an amazing character and this book has a love triangle that really works -- I can't decide which guy I hope she ends up with. Maybe Clara has a secret twin?

I read Unearthly before I started blogging, but here's my spoiler free review of Hallowed.  Cynthia Hand also wrote an Unearthly novella called Radiant about Clara and Angela's summer trip to Italy -- I'm buying that and reading it over the holidays!

Shades of Earth by Beth Revis
To be published by Razorbill on January 15!

This is also the third book in an amazing trilogy: Across the Universe and A Million Suns were the first two books.  Here's my review of book two, A Million Suns.

And, of course, there's a prequel novella called As They Slip Away that is also supposed to come out in January 2013. It's not up on Amazon yet, but stay tuned. And is it me or are all these titles part of the Beatles song?

What January 2013 books are you impatiently waiting for?

    1. I really enjoyed Across the Universe. I'm not the biggest science fiction fan, but there's also a lot of mystery plot in there! And the audio book is really fantastic, BTW...

  5. Yeah, I think I read that somewhere on Beth's site...that the titles and the Beatles' song were related. :) Super excited about both of these! But probably more for Boundless because I just read Radiant and it's fresh on my mind, plus it's my favorite angel-themed series EVAR. Dare I ask which team you're on? :P

Oh, yeah. Here's my WoW. Happy Wednesday! :D

  24. I liked Across the Universe, and I really dig Beth Revis as a person, but I hadn't really planned on finishing the series until I read a short story the Revis wrote for Shards and Ashes- it was all about Orion and I really liked it. So, maybe it's time to to give the rest of the series a read!
