What happened on the blog this past week?

What new books did I get and what am I reading?

Touch of Scarlet
by Eve Marie Mont

You might remember that I reviewed Breath of Eyre last year, and I'm curious to see what the author is going to do with one of my not-so-favorite books, The Scarlet Letter. While reading that book was a low point of my middle school experience, I did love the movie Easy A, so I will keep an open mind.

Thanks to Kensington Teen for allowing me to read this one!

I know to some of you, a foot of snow is not a lot, but here, it does slow down the city a bit. I'm holed up with a mug of tea and my Giant Stack O'Books:

Yeah, I probably won't get all those read this weekend. But I'm going to do my best to whittle down the stack.

Last Week's Winners:

YA Hop: Kimberly

Hot Off the Presses: Emily @ Falling for YA

Freebie Friday RAK: Dorothy, Lori @ Writing My Own Fairy Tale, Jaime @ Fiction Fare, and Angela.

Hope you all enjoy your books!

What's new with you? Tell me in comments. If you're a blogger, leave me a link so I can visit back!

  1. Nice pile of books! Notes from ghost town and pivot points were pretty good, but I didn't even manage to finsh How to lead a life of crime. So many new releases coming up this week! I swear I've lost count of them!

  6. This sounds like a fabulous weekend!!!! Maybe I'll pretend it's snowing on...... Friday, the next day I could actually get away with reading all day.

Also, your problem with the Scarlet Letter is probably that you read it in middle school. ew.

  7. That's a lot of snow :( I really hate snow, so I feel very sorry for pretty much everyone right now! I hope you're reading Pivot Point because I want to read that soooooo bad.

  8. So interesting to hear about all the snow-here on the West Coast, we've got none of that! But I'm still spending time holed up reading-hoping to finish two more books today and catch up on reviews for this week. At the moment, I have read the six books I'm reviewing but have not written a word about any of them yet.

  9. You can read that many in a weekend?! Or even close to it? I am a little jealous of that fact. lol I'm lucky if I can finish one. I am currently reading Notes from Ghost Town and like it so far. I am so curious about Revel. I don't think I've seen any reviews for that one yet. I hope you enjoy! Stay warm this weekend!

  24. LOVED Pivot Point! Revel sounds interesting as well. I've heard so much about Crash and Clash. I'm curious but I heard it is a super drama filled relationship so I'm wondering if I'll get annoying. I did like Beautiful Disaster so I might like them. Thanks for stopping by!

  26. Wish I was snowed in. We haven't seen any this year...at least not enough to keep me from leaving my house. :( Hurry up and read Siege & Storm...I'm on the ARC tour and I want it NOW. :P J/k. Sorta. It's one of my top anticipated reads this year. I'm planning on listening to the audio for Shadow & Bone soon as a refresher based on your rec. :)
