Clockwork Princess Countdown: Stop One

The Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare releases in a little more than a week -- I'm excited!  I did my re-read of the first two books over the past few days and I'm all ready.

Most days this week, I'll have some sort of special feature. Today, here's a link to the first chapter of the book, if you haven't read it yet.  Interesting, right? Could there be a love rectangle on the horizon?

On March 18, I'll be drawing a winner for a signed copy of Clockwork Princess. My bookstore has promised me that I can pick the winner's copy up on the morning of March 19 and then I'll mail it that day by USPS priority mail! The winner can track it as it makes its way right to his or her door...

This giveaway will be open internationally BUT if the winner is international, the book will not be signed -- sorry -- and it will be sent by The Book Depository.

I tried to offer a lot of ways to enter, so just do whatever works for you, but remember that the winning entry will be verified. There will be new ways to enter added through the week, so stay tuned...

  2. I'm so behind the ball on this one. Is this part of Mortal Instruments? Do you have to read one before the other? So far I've read city of bones...

    1. You don't need to read one before the other, at least I don't think so.

Infernal Devices (this trilogy) takes place in Victorian London and has a steampunk feel. There are some crossover characters, and it seems like some of the characters in this trilogy will be the ancestors of characters from TMI.

  3. Ohh signed copy!! I am almost done re-reading Clockwork Prince and it's so much more emotional the second time around. I am noticing a lot more than the first time I read it.

  4. I've kind of lost interest in The Mortal Instruments Series (I've only read up to bk #4) but I am still very invested in The Infernal Devices!

Go Team Jem!! (See, told you I like the underdog:)

    1. Same -- I read books 1-3 of TMI and then got sidetracked reading other stuff. But I love Infernal Devices!!

Not sure about the Jem/Will thing. I'm torn...
