Extra! Extra! is my weekly post featuring any and all exciting blog news.
I'm linking up to Sunday Post hosted by the lovely Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
Happy Sunday! This weekend I'm doing a marathon read of Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince, in preparation for…. eep!
I know, right? I'm planning a fun lead-up to the book's release, which probably will include the following: trivia, an analysis of teeny-tiny clues as to which guy Tessa will end up with and an AWESOME GIVEAWAY, if I do say so myself. Look for that next week!
Giveaways you can enter right now:
Hot Off the Presses -- link your reviews of YA releasing March 5-11 and enter to win a new release!
Freebie Friday -- come join in to our discussion of the best and worst parents in YA (who knew there were so many homicidal maniacs with children in YA?) and win a book from my pile.
Reviews you might have missed:
Trinkets by Kirsten Smith -- what did I think about this contemp about a trio of kleptomaniacs?
MILA 2.0 by Debra Driza -- did this story of a girl android who just wants to be a real girl win my
Poison by Bridget Zinn -- a charming fairy tale of a book -- think Babe meets Ella Enchanted!
Recent Winners:
YA Academy Awards: Tressa, Kelly and Tamara
Requiem Giveaway: Jacqueline
Hot Off the Presses ending Feb 26: Sarah Elizabeth
Hot Off the Presses ending March 5: Rachel
Okay, back to my reading…. hope you're having a great weekend. Leave me a comment and tell me what's new with you!
I've preordered my Clockwork Princess, so I'm just waiting on it to roll in. I'm SO looking forward to it though. Great week!

I hope you enjoy all your reading today! I think it's crazy how many messed up parents there are in YA, but I suppose "normal" parents don't make for a good story!
ReplyDeleteI'm STILL working on Strands of Bronze and Gold, not so much because it's slow but because I had a busy week and didn't get to read nearly enough during it. I'm almost certainly going to finish today. I also really need to work on my reviews, having only written two of the six I've planned for this week-eep!
ReplyDeleteYay for a reread weekend! I'm very excited for Clockwork Princess -- it's going to be awesome! I can't believe that series is ending this year AND the Mortal Instruments series. Sadness!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Jen! :)
Yay! You're finally going to read Clockwork Prince! So excited to hear what you think before Clockwork Princess comes out. I will be dropping everything to read that one on the 19th. :)
ReplyDeleteI read Poison and enjoyed it. The pig doesn't talk, like Babe but she is smart and is used as a tracker-kind of like a bloodhound. Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend relaxing and reading Jen!
ReplyDeleteOOhhh enjoy your Infernal Devices marathon!!! I hope Clockwork Prince will bring you over to the Jem side!!!!!!! I pre-ordered Clockwork Princess but I am so nervous! If Jem dies I will burn it!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to read Mila and Poison, keep seeing nice reviews on them :)
ReplyDeleteI seriously gotta finish the last few books in the Mortal Instruments series and start the other books. Everyone's always raving about them! And Mila is supposedly really awesome too. Hope you enjoy your books. My Sunday Post
ReplyDeleteoh man I need to pick up the Infernal Devices books!! I have only heard good things about them!

I envy you being able to read a series back to back, cannot wait for your thoughts, i own them but have only read book one..LOL The Sunday Post
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!! I am re-reading Clockwork Prince right now. I'm doing the read-along hosted by Mundie Moms. I can't wait for Clockwork Princess!! I only hope Amazon doesn't take forever to deliver it. They are usually pretty quick.
ReplyDeleteI hope to read Clockwork Angel soon, so it should be fun to follow this :D!
ReplyDeleteMel@thedailyprophecy.
So many great books there. Happy Reading!!! My Sunday Edition @ Paulette’s Papers
ReplyDeleteI haven't even started the infernal devices series. Is the third one the last one? I know the third was supposed to be the last with the mortal instruments and then it wasn't! Our library has the first two available (for once!) so I might have to read them soon!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for CP! Hope you love it.
