Hot Off the Presses: New YA April 16-22

Hot Off the Presses -- brand new YA releases!

First, I want to say that my heart goes out to everyone in the Boston area and anyone who was affected by the terrible tragedy yesterday at the Boston Marathon. I spent one fabulous summer living and working in Boston as a college student and I have great affection for the city.

Welcome to Hot Off the Presses! Every Tuesday, I tell you about all the great new YA books releasing that week. If you're a reviewer, you can also link your blog or Goodreads reviews of any YA book publishing this week so we can all check them out!

Since last week was a slow one, I'm going to use the same Linky - you can link ANY April YA review below and have a chance to win your choice of book up to $15 US from Amazon or The Book Depository. If you linked last week and were not drawn as a winner, you can re-enter with that review. Winner will be drawn and notified on April 30.

  1. Glad this is a bit of a lighter week! I only want to read Furious and The Symptoms of My Insanity having already read Taken. Still have so many other books to catch up on!

  2. I've only read Taken but the other two books up there that are on my list to read are from series I'm behind in anyways, like Game and Dead Silence. So it's a nice quiet release week for me. :)

  3. This week I've got Dead Silence & Game coming to me in the mail. I STILL need to read I Hunt Killers (I thought I'd have it read before book 2 came out), but at least now I can read them back-to-back! :-)

  4. I'm super excited for Game and Taken. Four more assignments until I'm done with the semester and then I can spend all day reading (I mean working and possibly studying for my licensing exams).

  5. I'm excited for Furious (even though it's not getting great reviews so far) and can't wait to see how Dead Silence ends the Body Finder series. I have an ARC of Taken, but haven't gotten to it yet. I love release day!

  8. I'm starting to notice that the trend of 'girls in a pretty dress' is fading. Love the variety of covers.
