Welcome to Hot Off the Presses! Every Tuesday, I tell you about all the great new YA books releasing that week. If you're a reviewer, you can also link your blog or Goodreads reviews of any YA book publishing this month so we can all check them out!
The new releases are really rolling in -- maybe in anticipation of all that summer reading we'll be doing soon? Asterisked books may have a different international release date :(
Since there will be SO many new releases over the next month, I'll let the winner pick any book up to $15 on either Amazon (for US winner) or The Book Depository (for international winner.)Congratulations to my April winner -- Redheaded Bookworm :)

Surprisingly I don't have that many books on my want list for May. Should I be worried?
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for Life After Theft, but I'm holding back. Really. I am.
Ha -- I just spend $30 on books today. I am weak :)
DeleteI bought Gatsby today... narrated by JAKE GYLENHAL... whose name I spelled wrong. And sigh, I wish I could buy all the books!
DeleteSo proud of myself-I have already read quite a few of these! But there are still more: namely The Program as we've discussed and Anthem for Jackson Dawes, both of which I have in my queue to read very soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try The Program from the library. And I'd never even heard of AFJD until I put this post together. Can't wait to see what you think!
DeleteI NEEEEED Sweet Peril in my life ASAP so I think I will definitely be running out to grab that one today. If any of the Chapters stores in my city actually get it. Lately they haven't been getting new releases until the Friday after they come out! GRRR!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying it right now!
DeleteSketchy by Olivia Samms released today. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks -- added it :)
DeleteI just read that the audio version of The Ward is amazing. I think I might try it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yay for making the list!
You know, I bet an action-packed book like that is great on audio.
DeleteI pre-ordered a signed copy of The Program awhile ago and cannot wait for it to arrive! And also ordering Sweet Peril today! Lots of great books this week. :)
ReplyDeleteYay -- enjoy them.
DeleteThis Girl by Colleen Hoover came out today:) Would that be included here as well?:)
ReplyDeleteI keep debating about including NA to my list, but I feel like I have to draw the line somewhere or the list gets crazy. If someone else wants to do an NA list I can link up to, let me know!
DeleteSo many great books!! I have read a few of them already. Sweet Peril was amazing!! I am loving The Eternity Cure too.
ReplyDeleteI had decided not to read Eternity Cure, but I'm going to read it!!
DeleteThis week I have Sweet Peril (Currently reading Sweet Evil) and The Eternity Cure coming to me in the mail. I got & read Breathless last night on my Kindle! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're going to love Sweet Evil and Sweet Peril -- your kind of book ;)
DeleteYep! You know me well :-) Really enjoying Sweet Evil. I've had it on my bookshelf for months. It was about time I finally got to it!
DeleteBelonging was really good! Really want book 3 now!
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of that series either. I've never read any Amish romance. I'm intrigued!
DeleteLots of great releases this week. Enjoyed The Eternity Cure and Life After Theft. The Boyfriend App looks really cute. Definitely want to read Sweet Peril and Absent. I started The Ward but put it down. Will try it again.
ReplyDeleteSuch an epic release week! I just got The Eternity Cure and the finished copy is GORGEOUS! It has a pretty naked cover too (without the jacket). The Program was GREAT! I'm reading The Loop now and liking it okay. How I Lost You was great and I still need to read The Boyfriend App and The Ward, both of which I have from ALA. Too hard to keep up!

ReplyDeleteSorry... typos. I had totally not heard of some of these... off to add them to my Goodreads! Thanks for sharing! :D
ReplyDeleteLots of amazing books out this week!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for The program!
ReplyDeleteMel@thedailyprophecy.
So many great books this week!! I can't wait to read The Program, The Ward, Sweet Peril, and The Last Acadmy - to name a few! :)
ReplyDeleteHi hon, would it be possible to change the rafflecopter so that we can input one review per day or something? I've already read 7 May releases so far and still have about 12 to go!
ReplyDeleteYes, you can now do five per day. Sorry about that :)
DeleteThanks hon, I think this might be a bit of a mad month!
