I'm very excited that I'll be attending BEA again this year. It's a huge publishing industry event that features lots of new books, author signings, panel discussions, and more...
Here's another book that I'm interested in checking out:
How To Love
by Katie Cotugno
Balzer + Bray
October 2013
Goodreads summary:
Before: Reena Montero has loved Sawyer LeGrande for as long as she can remember: as natural as breathing, as endless as time. But he’s never seemed to notice that Reena even exists…until one day, impossibly, he does. Reena and Sawyer fall in messy, complicated love. But then Sawyer disappears from their humid Florida town without a word, leaving a devastated—and pregnant—Reena behind. After: Almost three years have passed, and there’s a new love in Reena’s life: her daughter, Hannah. Reena’s gotten used to being without Sawyer, and she’s finally getting the hang of this strange, unexpected life. But just as swiftly and suddenly as he disappeared, Sawyer turns up again. Reena doesn’t want anything to do with him, though she’d be lying if she said Sawyer’s being back wasn’t stirring something in her. After everything that’s happened, can Reena really let herself love Sawyer LeGrande again?
Sounds like a Harlequin romance novel. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
This is being marketed for fans of Sarah Dessen. *Raises hand* I'm in!
Leave me a link to your WoW post or just tell me in comments: what book you are impatiently waiting for?
Definitely added this to my tbr! Is there a place one can find books that will be at BEA? I'm very curious.
ReplyDeleteps. jsyk, the link for the goodreads page isn't working. :)

Me too !
DeleteThis sounds very adult and I feel like I've seen romance novels with a similar plot. Wonder just why Sawyer left and how he'll get back in Reena's good graces.
ReplyDeleteThere are a LOT of Secret Baby romance novels. And I secretly love that plot :)
DeleteOoh this sounds fun! I've never been too big on romance novels but I think I could enjoy the drama in this one. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteYep, plenty of drama ;)
DeleteThis is first I've seen of this one. I'm still trying to get into books like this, lol. Great pick and I hope you get to read it!
ReplyDeleteGive it a try!
DeleteThis book sounds right up my alley=)

DeleteI've read a few books like this and loved it and I'm a huge Sarah Dessen fan so woohoo. -Added to TBR list
ReplyDeleteMy Wow
I love Sarah Dessen!
DeleteThis book sounds GREAT! Tho I'm assuming it's contemp adult and not YA? I'm actually not a huge fan of Sarah Dessen fan (don't shoot me!). I don't dislike her, it's just that her books get too similar and I always want more romance. Anyway, I still want to check this one out!
ReplyDeleteI think it's sort of YA/NA. I mean, my impression is that Balzer and Bray is a YA imprint….
DeleteOooh! Looks good!
ReplyDeleteI know!
DeleteThat sounds really good! I might have to add that to my TBR list!
ReplyDeleteHere's my WoW

ReplyDeleteJennifer @ Some Like It Paranormal
Exactly! He better have a good excuse. Like being in jail. Which both is and is not a good excuse...
DeleteWhoa! I hadn't heard of this one before and it sounds GREAT! I want to know what happens when he comes back and why he left in the first place. Thanks for bringing this one to my attention!
ReplyDeleteI'm...... going to go add this to my BEA planner RIGHT THIS MINUTE.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me a little of a Christian book I read some time ago called A Kiss for Cade by Lori Copeland that I loved! Similar story. I will definitely be picking this one up. :)
