Waiting on Wednesday: BEA Edition II

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

I'm very excited that I'll be attending BEA again this year. It's a huge publishing industry event that features lots of new books, author signings, panel discussions, and more...

Here's another book that I'm interested in checking out:

How To Love
by Katie Cotugno
Balzer + Bray
October 2013

Goodreads summary:
Before: Reena Montero has loved Sawyer LeGrande for as long as she can remember: as natural as breathing, as endless as time. But he’s never seemed to notice that Reena even exists…until one day, impossibly, he does. Reena and Sawyer fall in messy, complicated love. But then Sawyer disappears from their humid Florida town without a word, leaving a devastated—and pregnant—Reena behind. After: Almost three years have passed, and there’s a new love in Reena’s life: her daughter, Hannah. Reena’s gotten used to being without Sawyer, and she’s finally getting the hang of this strange, unexpected life. But just as swiftly and suddenly as he disappeared, Sawyer turns up again. Reena doesn’t want anything to do with him, though she’d be lying if she said Sawyer’s being back wasn’t stirring something in her. After everything that’s happened, can Reena really let herself love Sawyer LeGrande again?
Sounds like a Harlequin romance novel. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

This is being marketed for fans of Sarah Dessen. *Raises hand* I'm in!

Leave me a link to your WoW post or just tell me in comments: what book you are impatiently waiting for?

  3. This sounds very adult and I feel like I've seen romance novels with a similar plot. Wonder just why Sawyer left and how he'll get back in Reena's good graces.

  12. This book sounds GREAT! Tho I'm assuming it's contemp adult and not YA? I'm actually not a huge fan of Sarah Dessen fan (don't shoot me!). I don't dislike her, it's just that her books get too similar and I always want more romance. Anyway, I still want to check this one out!

    1. I think it's sort of YA/NA. I mean, my impression is that Balzer and Bray is a YA imprint….

  18. This reminds me a little of a Christian book I read some time ago called A Kiss for Cade by Lori Copeland that I loved! Similar story. I will definitely be picking this one up. :)
