Confession: I, too, have felt a tiny bit jealous of those headed off to amazing book festivals and conferences that I'm not attending. I want to go to ALL the fun things. I'm so excited to be attending BEA, but sad for those of you who won't be there :(
So this week, I am featuring:
Books That Should Be At BEA That You Can Request From NetGalley and Edelweiss!
Clicking on the cover should take you to the request page. It works for me. If not, let me know :)
Listings should be accurate, but if you have additions or the books aren't there, please let me know in comments! And I can't guarantee you'll get approved. I've been rejected for some of these *cough Fire With Fire cough*
Let's start with NetGalley:

What a great idea for a post! I was so thrilled to get approved for Rose Under Fire and can only hope it lives up to my expectations. Most of the Edelweiss titles are new to me so I'll have to look them up and see if I want to request any of them.
ReplyDeleteSo many exciting books! I'm very excited for Tumble & Fall and Fire With Fire (especially because of that twist at the end). I'm so bummed that I won't be able to join you guys at BEA :(
ReplyDeleteAmazing and extremely helpful post! Thanks for this <3

Many, many of those are one's I'm eagerly awaiting. Great post and actually made me feel better that I can't make BEA. :-)

Thanks for this! I didn't know Tumble & Fall was on Netgalley (because I've been trying to be good and avoid it). I'm waiting to hear on a few of these. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat Post. I have a few of the ones listed. Now if I just had more time. lol... :)
ReplyDeleteJenea @ Books Live Forever's WoW
Harumph. I already have those of these that I want. I was hoping you'd somehow found Crown of Midnight up on Netgalley or something. ;) I want that book SO. BAD. And I know...I'm being greedy. I'll stop now. :( Great post, though. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great info for those of us not going to BEA. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteKate @ Ex Libris
I've never done the Netgalley thing since I don't consider myself a "book blogger" although it's super tempting! I'm glad these options exist because I use blogs a lot to determine what I want to read next :)
ReplyDeleteFun post, Jen! :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSabrina @iheartyafiction
Thanks for the great post.
ReplyDeleteThere are a few books here that I have on my wish list.
Andreea
Great post!! I have quite a few of those and can't wait to read them!!
ReplyDeleteBummed that you won't be at BEA. It will be my first time and I'm equal parts stoked and overwhelmed. Thanks so much for trying FIND ME. Hope you enjoy it :) Interested to see what you think of Sherry Thomas's new book. I read all her adult stuff and it is beyond wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI wish I can go to BEA :/
ReplyDeleteTumble and Fall is the only one of those that I don't have but I really want! I am not going to BEA either, but I know I'll enjoy these reads when I get to them. But still, an ARC of Across a Star-Swept Sea would be fantastic :D
ReplyDeleteCheck out my WoW post!
You make my life so much easier, Jen! Thank you for being amazing and putting this list out there. I have a few, but not many of these.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, thank you! Hope you get to read it soon!

My WOW Post
There are seriously some great books here, at least I hope they will be. I have a couple I requested. I hadn't seen The Burning Sky before and since I love Cinda Williams Chima and Kristin Cashore, I will definitely have to get my hands on that one.
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to go to a conference or even an author showing. They don't seem to have a lot out in Arizona. Quite a bummer!
My WOW is for another historical romance today by one of my favorite authors.
This post basically rocks! Thanks for sharing these and rounding them up. I can't wait for Rose Under Fire, Tumble & Fall, and Frozen especially. *runs off to request*
ReplyDeleteaww, it's so sweet of you to do that! We were actually planning to go but we couldn't go last minute because of some issues (sad I know ) but hopefully we will next year! I am dying for how to love (got accepted so I'm super excited!) as well as the burning sky (getting it for review, yeay!) as well as tumble & fall!! (must request that one!)
ReplyDeleteawesome post Jen!

I wish I could go to BEA. Sad, sad, sad :( but perhaps one day! :D
ReplyDeleteMel@thedailyprophecy.
I really don't get how they decide who to approve or not on netgalley/edelweiss, you have loads more followers than me, and have been blogging longer yet I got fire with fire and you didn't. It just doesn't make sense!
ReplyDeleteI did just get 'monsters' by ilsa bick on edelweiss this morning though which i am super excited about!
Aw, it is so awesome of you to do this. I'm sad not to be at BEA, but I'm really happy that you're going! And looking forward to seeing reviews for the books you come back with. have a great time, Jen!
ReplyDeleteWendy @ The Midnight Garden
thanks so much for this post :) will have to start browsing for books to add to my kindle
ReplyDeleteListen up! Everyone needs to get their hands on The Beginning of Everything, especially if you are a John Green fan, because it is AWESOME!! Trust me on this. :)
ReplyDeleteSo many great picks! I have a lot of these on my to-read list as well!
ReplyDeleteWOW, so many books - and so many of them seem awesome... I'm off to Netgalley and Edelweiss for a while now :)
