WoW: The BEA Edition

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Confession: I, too, have felt a tiny bit jealous of those headed off to amazing book festivals and conferences that I'm not attending. I want to go to ALL the fun things. I'm so excited to be attending BEA, but sad for those of you who won't be there :(
So this week, I am featuring:

Books That Should Be At BEA That You Can Request From NetGalley and Edelweiss!

Clicking on the cover should take you to the request page.
It works for me. If not, let me know :)

Listings should be accurate, but if you have additions or the books aren't there, please let me know in comments! And I can't guarantee you'll get approved. I've been rejected for some of these *cough Fire With Fire cough*

  1. What a great idea for a post! I was so thrilled to get approved for Rose Under Fire and can only hope it lives up to my expectations. Most of the Edelweiss titles are new to me so I'll have to look them up and see if I want to request any of them.

  12. I've never done the Netgalley thing since I don't consider myself a "book blogger" although it's super tempting! I'm glad these options exist because I use blogs a lot to determine what I want to read next :)

  16. Tumble and Fall is the only one of those that I don't have but I really want! I am not going to BEA either, but I know I'll enjoy these reads when I get to them. But still, an ARC of Across a Star-Swept Sea would be fantastic :D

  20. There are seriously some great books here, at least I hope they will be. I have a couple I requested. I hadn't seen The Burning Sky before and since I love Cinda Williams Chima and Kristin Cashore, I will definitely have to get my hands on that one.

It would be nice to go to a conference or even an author showing. They don't seem to have a lot out in Arizona. Quite a bummer!

My WOW is for another historical romance today by one of my favorite authors.

  25. I really don't get how they decide who to approve or not on netgalley/edelweiss, you have loads more followers than me, and have been blogging longer yet I got fire with fire and you didn't. It just doesn't make sense!
I did just get 'monsters' by ilsa bick on edelweiss this morning though which i am super excited about!
