Happy Friday!
Summer is here and I want to be sure you have enough to read…
So far, I haven't had much time to tackle my TBR pile. Things have been really busy, but I'm hoping that I can make more time soon.
Tell me … what's on your summer reading pile?
Here's what I'm reading in June 2013!
The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen -- Sarah Dessen books are the perfect summer read!
This Is WAR by Laura and Lisa Roecker -- a tale of revenge set in a beach community.
Releases on July 2nd.
Replica by Jenna Black -- I loved her Faeriewalker series -- this is a YA sci-fi that releases July 16.
Belle Epoque by Elizabeth Ross -- turn-of-the-century France, the marriage market, girl power.
This one was a lot of fun to read!
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey -- do you feel like you're the only one who hasn't read this alien invasion book? I'm here to help….
Gated by Amy Christine Parker -- a gated community, an end-of-the-world prophecy….
this one releases on August 27.
I have a little stack of library books right now: The Elite, The Symptoms of My Insanity, Elegy, and The Hero's Guide to Storming the Castle. I'm hoping to read these by July 7.
ReplyDeleteI will be waiting for your reviews!

I want to get through all my signed books like Don't Turn Around, The Sky Is Everywhere, Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, and Through The Ever Night. Just got ordered two hardbacks on a great sale at Amazon too, Winter Town and The Queen of Kentucky. So I have more than enough to keep me busy!

I am going to count August as Summer. Kids aren't in school for the whole month, so that counts right? That being said, the book that first comes to mind that I am seriously looking forward to is Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan. I adored Unspoken, and I am hoping that Untold blows my expectations out of the water! There are MANY others that I am looking forward to as well, but that tops the list tonight!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, email is: jeepgirl529(at)yahoo(dot)com
DeleteHope you love it!
Delete62
I do not have a summer reading pile. I never had one. A lot of people tend to read 'summery' books during the summer, but I was never one of them.
ReplyDeleteGreat books, though. They sound good.
Andreea
I don't have a pile of "summery" books but I do have a pile of books I hope to get to during the summer, when I (in theory) have more time to read. We'll see!
