First, I'm definitely waiting on this:
The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines #4) by Richelle Mead
In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.
I'm also waiting on the movie based on the Vampire Academy series, Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters!
Don't you wish you fly over to the UK and take a peek at the filming? Check out the cast? That smoldering chemistry between Rose and Dimitri?
Yes? Then you've got to enter this contest. You and a lucky companion win a trip to London, a visit to the set, and a video camera to document the whole experience. US residents only...
There are also 100 signed cast posters up for grabs.
Tell me what you're waiting on, or link me up so I can check it out!
Excellent call - can't wait for both of these. Richelle Mead FTW!

DeleteOh, I rarely enter contests where there's like 0% chance I'll win, but I WOULD like a poster! :) I, too, can't wait for this book or the movie. More Sydrian, please!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. Because I rarely win...
DeleteI still need to read The Indigo Spell! I can't believe I've been such a slacker! And I'm excited about the movie too!

First, you guys better step out of the way, because I'm totally winning that trip to the VA set. Second, did you see the Fiery Hear excerpt that RM posted earlier this week from Adrian's POV? It made me even MORE excited to get my hands on this book. AAHHHHHHH. Love him. SYDRIAN FOREVER.

ReplyDeleteI loved the VA series so I'm excited about the movie! I like the spin-off series, but I read them mostly for Adrian. Lol!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for both of these! I'm dying to read the next Bloodlines book and super dying to see the movie (if that is a thing). Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI've not read any Richelle Mead yet, these books have awful covers in my opinion though! I may try this series at some point!

Oooooh! I hadn't heard about the movie. Don't know how I missed that one. I haven't started this series yet, but I will definitely be reading it even though it goes against my clean policy. I'm just a sucker for some things. :)

I still haven't read the Vampire Academy series -- bad YA blogger, bad! But I definitely need to. Not sure if I would see the movie, since most based on books usually don't turn out that well.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my WoW at Leeanna.me.
I still haven't finished the VA series! I don't even remember what book I'm on... The third, I think? Not sure! However, I did hear about the movie, and I must say, I'm pretty fond of the cast. They look pretty similar to how I pictured the characters!
ReplyDeleteFantastic pic, Jen! :)
I figured you'd be wanting this one-seriously one of my summer goals is to start the VA books. I just need some more free time!
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for this one too :D! Can't wait to read from Adrian's POV! Great Pick.

I hate to admit it but I just squealed like a teenager. I didn't know they were making a VA movie, super excited! I loved the series but I must have missed the Bloodlines series. Will be adding it to my TBR shelf. Thanks for the great picks. Here's mine: http://ginsbooknotes.com/2013/06/19/waiting-on-wednesday-2/

ReplyDeleteOkay, so that's not very constructive but...
have you seen the tweets from PenguinTeenAustralia re: Fiery Heart? Nice little teasers, like the ones Richelle Mead keeps posting and the pictures she posts of the cast. I think it's going to be a great movie...
I haven't even read The Indigo Spell yet, but I can't wait for The Fiery Heart! And yes, that competition is AMAZING! I'm just crossing my fingers for the signed poster. XD
