Hot Off the Presses: New YA Releasing July 2-8

Welcome to July's Hot Off the Presses!

Every Tuesday, I tell you about all the great new YA books you can grab in the week to come. If you're a reviewer, you can also link your blog or Goodreads reviews of any YA book publishing in July so we can all check them out!

Hot Off the Presses aims to include every traditionally published YA -- if I missed something, please let me know in comments. You are welcome to link your reviews of YA books that were self-pubbed in July!

It's a new month and a new giveaway! The winner of my July giveaway can pick any book up to $15 on either Amazon (for US winner) or The Book Depository (for international winner.) Enter by linking reviews, commenting on linked reviews, or tweeting :) June's winner was Brandi, and her prize is on the way...

Asterisked titles have a different international release date.

  1. Truly, Madly, Deadly just came out today? Odd as I picked up a copy from B&N on Saturday...so that's on my to-read list. Also The Distance Between Us and Awaken and maybe a few others if I can find them at my library.

    1. That's what Goodreads says, but bookstores do sometimes put things out earlier...

  2. This is such a smart and fun idea, Jen. I love sharing reviews and reading others' as well as giveaways! Hah. I'm looking forward to The Distance Between Us, Kasie West is a genius as I really enjoyed pivot Point.

    Lovely post, hon! <33

  4. This post makes me cry, because I'm already behind on BEA review books. Stupid school. I've been super productive today though... thins are going to to turn around. For sure.

    1. Yeah, I feel behind too. But we don't have to read everything!

  6. I received Blurred (Kissed by Death #2) by Tara Fuller early from Amazon, but today is the "official" release date. Facade (The Game Series #2) by Nyrae Dawn came out today too! Love her books. The first book (Charade) was an indie pub, but this one got picked up by Hachette Book Group!
Also have The Distance Between Us on my TBR :-)

    1. Thanks -- added Blurred and it nicely evened out my photo rows. Facade is still showing up as self-pubbed on Goodreads, but you are welcome to link up a review of any YA, self-pubbed included. I just have to draw the line somewhere, and I can't keep track of self-pubbed too :)

    2. Just saw your reply! Sorry about that! I'm seeing the publisher as "Forever" (part of Hachette), but maybe it just changed on Goodreads recently :-)

    3. Thanks-- Ill add it in when Im home and off my phone -- GR does put all the different versions up and sometimes it's confusing to me. !

  7. Every time I visit this feature of yours, I am astonished to see all the new releases. The only two I'd really seen a lot of reviews for was Truly Madly Deadly by Hannah Jayne (Sourcebooks) & The Distance Between Us by Kasie West (HarperTeen) (this one mostly because of the fans West seems to have gotten after Pivot Point). Glitch already has its third book out?!?! It feels like just yesterday, I was reading that book...

(How do you hear about all these books?!)

    1. I don't hear about all of them!

I do like to try to feature every YA I can find for the week (though every week I miss a bunch) because book bloggers like me tend to focus on the trendy titles and forget about the others. I use a bunch of different sources, because there does not seem to be one place that has everything….

  8. I stumbled on your blog via twitter! Great link up! I'm a new follower and I linked my review of Playing Tyler (which came on out the 2nd of July).
