Welcome to Hot Off the Presses!
Every Tuesday, I tell you about all the great new YA books you can grab in the week to come. If you're a reviewer, you can also link your blog or Goodreads reviews of any YA book publishing in August so we can all check them out!
We have two relatively quiet August weeks until the new fall releases explode onto the scene!
Hot Off the Presses aims to include every traditionally published YA -- if I missed something, please let me know in comments. You are also welcome to link your reviews of YA books that were self-pubbed in August!
The winner of my August giveaway can pick any book up to $15 on either Amazon (for US winner) or The Book Depository (for international winner.) Enter by linking reviews, commenting on linked reviews, or tweeting :)If I missed anything, let me know in comments!
*Asterisked titles may have a different international release date.

I really do want to try that Fallen series. I didn't realize another book was coming out. I do have the first 2 books. And I so want to read False Memory! I started it months ago but had to put it down for review books. I'm glad to see the sequel is now out for when I do get to it. :)
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you try the Fallen! Angel books are usually not for me, but if you love the first book, I'll check it out.
DeleteYay for Between the Devil... being released. You, Candace, and Heather all loved this book and I am so excited to give it a read!
ReplyDeleteI think you'll love it!!!
DeleteFall releases need not be exploding this year! I can't take it.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea :)
Heh -- get your hardhat ready. Starting August 27, it will be raining books!
DeleteWoo Hoo, The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea!! I hope that book hits it big! I also want to read The Deepest Night, I really liked the first book in that series, The Sweetest Dark:)
ReplyDeleteI have that one but haven't had time to read it..
DeleteThis week I have Hover coming to me in the mail and FINALLY This Girl (Slammed #3)by Colleen Hoover is out in paperback and on it's way to me! I've been waiting so long for the PB release. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! I have Hopeless on my stack and hope (ha ha) to get to it soon.
DeleteHaha!! I loved Hopeless. Get the tissues ready. I have the PB version of Losing Hope (Hopeless #2) pre-ordered. I was so bummed that they're releasing the PB version months after the ebook version. I already finished This Girl yesterday (stayed up really late Tuesday night reading) and I absolutely loved it!
DeleteI really want Hover and Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock. I have Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea and can't wait to read it. Stalked by Death by Kelly Hashway released this week from Spencer Hill Press.
ReplyDeleteThanks -- adding that one to the list!
DeleteHelloooo Between the devil and the deep blue sea :D
ReplyDeleteMel@thedailyprophecy.
Hope you love it!!
DeleteJust more books to add to my tbr pile! :)
ReplyDeleteYep. Sorry about that :)
DeleteThank goodness I'm already working on September titles, or I would be freaking out with the amount of new books releasing in the next couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteI AM freaking out because man, there are a ton of September titles...
DeleteExcited for Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea and Hoover.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy!
DeleteDemonosity is one I'm really looking forward to!

I see so much about Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea! I am really excited for it~
ReplyDeleteI still can't figure out why they chose to pub Between the Devil on a Thursday. It'll have such a hard time getting onto the bestsellers list, even with all the hype it's been generating. Lol, also when you did comment on the review, I smacked my forehead and remembered that I wrote I'd link to your giveaway. Thanks for the little reminder :).
ReplyDeleteFalse sight seems to be controversial and split among reviewers from what I've seen - some liking the new direction, some not. And what??? There's a 5th Fallen book?? I put the omnibus for 3 & 4 in my Salvation Army pile to give away because I still hadn't gotten the chance to read through them, and it's just shocking that the books are still being pubbed. I thought a t.v. mini movie had been made for the books in the 90s? I might be wrong about that though.
I finally remembered to participate in this meme :). It's really great to have a hub of August YA release links here.
Welcome!!!
DeleteAnd yeah, some pubs seem to do different days of the week. Scholastic and Penguin….
Fire With Fire by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian also released this week :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Are the publishers trying to mess with my mind? I have the ARC and it clearly says "September 3." But then, yeah, it says some small-print yada yada about "dates subject to change."
DeleteThanks -- I had NO idea this was out and I'm adding it!
I need to clear my reading list because I'm dying to read Between the Devil and Deep Blue Sea! Hover was quite good but I expect a lot from the sequel :)
ReplyDeleteI really cannot wait for Devil and the Deep Blue Sea- that cover is perfection.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Jen! <33
I think I'm most excited for Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.
