Extra! Extra! What's New with You?

Extra! Extra! is my weekend post featuring brand new additions to my TBR pile as well as a summary of what's new on the blog.

This weekend I'm linking to Stacking the Shelves @ Tynga's Reviews and/or to Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

NEW BOOKS:

I haven't done a new books post for a couple weeks, and I have a LOT of exciting new things:

Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater (Scholastic, October 2014)
The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon (Bloomsbury, January 2015)

I also got these three:

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (Knopf, January 2015)
The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski (FSG, March 2015)
The Secrets We Keep by Trisha Leaver (FSG, April 2015)

I'm super-excited about all these!  Thanks to Scholastic, Bloomsbury and Macmillan!

  1. I'm dying to read Blue Lily, Lily Blue.
And I really want to read All the Bright Places, it sounds fantastic! It reminds me of your post about book covers with post-its, and it reminds of all those books about suicide that I've read this days. Anyway, I didn't know about it. Thanks for sharing!
    Hope you enjoy them!

    1. Thanks -- yes, I did the post-it post (haha!) and then kept thinking there was a book I was missing and then... got this one. *smacks head*
It's pretty funny when things like that happen.

    2. Oh, and LOL I called it All the Bright and Shiny Places by mistake because the OTHER post-it book is called Queen of Bright and Shiny or something. Funny that both books have "Bright" in the title and post-its too..

  4. Oooh! Love your new book additions, especially The Winner's Crime!! I got way too many eARC's this past week. Seriously. It would be easier if I just liked reading one genre, but I want Christian Fiction, Adult, MG sometimes, and of course YA. I need to figure out a new system though... Have a great week, Jen! Thanks for stopping by too!! :)

  6. LILY BLUE!!!! *flails wildly* I'm so freakishly excited for that book. I basically claw towards any Maggie Stiefvater book I can. And I think, not 100% sure, but I think I've read everything she's written so far. Apart from Lily Blue. But I'll change that too. XD The Mime Order is a very nice cover! I didn't like The Bone Season, so I won't be reading it...but...my sister's name is Mime. SHE HAS A BOOK NAMED AFTER HER. lol Kidding, but it's totally cool all the same. ;-)
