Extra! Extra! (Spring) Book Fever

Extra! Extra!

Extra! Extra! is my weekend post featuring brand new additions to my TBR pile as well as a summary of what's new on the blog.

This weekend I'm linking to Stacking the Shelves @ Tynga's Reviews and/or to Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Things have been super-crazy around my house -- maybe spring fever has finally hit us?

Here are a few of the new books that are in my reading/reviewing queue:

Anne & Henry by Dawn Ius
Rook by Sharon Cameron
Ana of California by Andi Teran

Anne and Henry is a modern twist on Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII and I didn't realize that Ana of California was a retelling of Anne of Green Gables (!)

From Netgalley -- thanks Little, Brown, St Martins and Bloomsbury!

Scarlett Undercover Everybody Rise The Fixer

Scarlett Undercover by Jennifer Latham
Everybody Rise by Stephanie Clifford
The Fixer by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

What's new with you? Please tell me in comments and I will visit you back!

  1. So jelly about Anne & Henry! I mean, that book sounds like it could be a train wreck but I NEED IT. I need it so bad! I really hope it's awesome and that you love it. I also have a copy of Rook that I received this week that I'm really excited to get to. It sounds a bit spooky and twisted so I'm ready for that! The Fixer sounds totally unlike other contemporaries out there - I hope it's awesome. :D

    1. I love those "possible train wreck" books so much. I have to admire an author who can tackle a risky concept. Hope I love all these!

  4. I think Anne & Henry sounds so interesting! I love the various historical depictions I've read and think a modern retelling could be crazy good or crazy bad but either way I want to check it out!
