Hot Off the Presses: New YA Releasing July 12-18

Welcome to Hot Off the Presses!

Tuesday is book release day, so every Tuesday I tell you about all the great new YA books you can buy in the week to come.

Hot Off the Presses aims to include every traditionally published YA book. Please let me know about books that came out this week that I might have missed! Some titles may have different release dates outside the US.

Quiet week - did I miss something??

The Killer in Me by Margo Harrison (Disney-Hyperion)
The Shadow Hour (Girl at Midnight #2) by Melissa Grey (Delacorte)
The Season by Jonah Lisa Dyer and Stephen Dyer (Viking)
Shiny Broken Pieces by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton (Harper)
Rebellion (Elysium Chronicles #3) by J. A. Souders (Tor)
Rampage (Singular Menace #3) by Michele Cook and John Sanford (Knopf)

  5. July's a quiet month? No? There are a few, but can't seem to recall them right now! The Season and the Shadow Hour are up there for me. I expect some laughter in The Season.

    1. Don't get me started but I think the pub industry has it ALL backwards. They have quiet release weeks during holidays and summer but that's when a lot of people want stuff to read.

  9. July seems to be a month where the publishing houses may also be taking a holiday because there seem to be fewer big YA releases than usual! I like the looks of The Shadow Hour though!
