New YA Books Releasing the week of July 4-10 2017

Yes, Hot Off the Presses has a new look today. These posts were the most time-consuming thing about my blog, but I loved them because they gave me the chance to highlight each and every YA book coming out. Every week I learned about books I wasn't aware of, and I hope you did too! I also loved the rows and rows of pretty covers.

If you want to know the reasons behind the change (they do involve a middle of the night ransom demand and some crying) you can read about it here.

If you're like: yeah, whatever; just tell me about the books -- let's get to it!

  1. I just read Words on Bathroom Walls and ended up loving it! It surprised me. I have ARCs of Lucky in Love and Paper Hearts but haven't gotten to start either of them yet. Hopefully soon! They both sound really good.

  4. I used to do a post like this every week too and I LOVED IT. I did it for 4 years and I didn't want to give it up-- but it was SO time consuming!! I finally quit doing it last year and I definitely am way less informed about which books are coming out-- and I know way less about books that already out. Like I actually can go to a book store now and find books I didn't know existed. I hadn't been able to do that for years. It makes me sad, but also I'm way less stressed than I was. I've been relying on your posts to keep me semi-updated-- but I get why you want to scale back!

    1. I will definitely still do a list in some form. What I have to give up (for now) is linking each cover to the Goodreads page. If I can find a new way to do it, I will!

  5. I read The Breakdown by B.A.Paris which comes out this month -- so good!

  7. I'd never heard of The Disappearances before and am now very much intrigued now; however, I'm a big fan of Abbi Glines so Under the Lights is what I'm most excited about.
